From 2006 to 2009 I spent my summer holidays on a bicycle, together with a friend. It started with a tour following the cycleroute along the shore of the Baltic sea, from Kiel to Stralsund. In 2007 we rode from Dresden to Cuxhaven, following the river Elbe. 2008 we journeyed along the west coast of Ireland, a really great adventure despite the rainy weather. Finally, in 2009 we travelled along the former border between east and west Germany, starting in Eisenach and ending at the Baltic sea.
Bicycles
Apart from riding my bicycles, there was a time where I spent next to every evening after work at the bicycle repair shop of a friend. I bought several bicycles in these years, but I also built up two of them myself and applied quite some tuning to others.
